After back-and-forth two periods ending in 4-3 score, the Cambridge Blues, fueled by their unrelenting supporters, surged past the Dark Blues and sealed the historic victory. The Varsity MVP was Light Blues' goaltender Daniel Orvomaa, player of the game was co-captain Spencer Brennan, player-voted MVP was the assistant captain Oscar Wilsby. Honorable mention to Cambridge co-captain Vaclav Beranek, who finished the night with four goals and an assist.
